Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Any difference between Atomic Hawx 80w and Hawx 80x w other than colour?

I can't find any information on this. The atomic website has exactly the same description for both models. Is it just the colour difference?

Thanks! But as far as I know, the 80 W and 80 X W are both women's boots? I would like to know if there is any difference between them...

As far as I can see, they are identical. Even checking on the Atomic website, same liner, same shell, same sole... but the X appears to be more expensive for some reason.

Short of getting them side by side, I can't see what the difference is.

feef, I've done the same even comparing the write ups side by side they are identical apart from a missing X! I would hazard a guess that the XW deals with a wider width, possibly in the calf since both descriptions claim some adaptability in this area. I bet CEM would know though - if he doesn't spot this thread katn57, could PM him to ask couldn't she?

Megamum, Both the W and X W are listed as having the same "100MM MEDIUM FIT" last, so the width is the same too.

unless, of course, the Atomic website is incorrect. It wouldn't be the first time a manufacturer has an error in their specs somewhere

katn57, quite right. I missed the second W Smile Have you tried ringing/e-mailing Atomic? They might know for sure. Maybe.

feef, Yes, that's what I had noted when I agreed they were identical - I was also hinting at a possible error in the website Very Happy There is a contact button of their website though, and I know when I have contacted manafactures in the past lots of them are good at getting back to enquiries so maybe the OP could do that?
