Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Email the hire shop direct, say you've got 'x' price using the discount codes and ask if they can beat it. I've been doing this for years now and they always do even if it's only by a few euros. Adds up when there is a group of you.

Cut out the middle man.

I wouldn't bother. A relative of mine got an Alpinresorts code offering up to 60% discount but when he went to hire he only got slightly more than the 47% offered online anyway - about 2 Euros. Better to hunt around for the best deal as online early discounts are offered by all the major players. I'd bet edde's method would work best once you found the cheapest deal.

Walk into a non-chain shop holding folding and you'll beat any online price and pick the skis you want rather than being given what they want to shift.

All these agencies do is take their 15% - cut them and out and guess what, you keep the 15%

@red 27, +1 emailing or calling in definitely seems to offer good savings plus its beneficial to the small shop owners (no commission to alpinresorts et al) and your pocket.
