Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi! I'm from Argentina
I'm going to stay in North Carolina, Raleigh from the 28th of March till the 20th of May.
As the experts in the "ski/snowboard" matter, I'll ask for your assistance
Where do you recomend me to go for snowboarding? (you call it the dark side... I always like the Sid)
And prices... they don't have to be exact, just an estimate. Budgets are a pain in the "backdoor".
I know is not the most "suitable" time of the year, but it's what i have
Thank you so much, i apologize for any spelling trouble. I'll be practicing when i get there

Welcome to snowheads!
And your English is very clear (to me at least)
I suggest you try posting the question here:
www.epicski.com.
That's the US based snowheads forum.

SBMarco
, Welcome to snowHeads!
As snowHeads is a UK based forum with mainly British members I guess that not many of us will know much about the ski/snowboarding options near to North Carolina. However, looking at a map of North Carolina I see that there are a couple of ski resorts shown in the North West corner of the state e.g
Appalachian Ski Mtn
,
Sugar Mtn
,
Hawksnest
and
Ski Beech Mtn
.
I don't know anything about these resorts, but perhaps some of the US based snowHeads may be able to contribute more information? Obviously if whilst you are the US you have the option to travel further afield then the resorts further west in Colorado or Utah offer many possibilities.
Hope this helps!
