Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Hire Shops at La Molina Spain

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi, does anyone know the websites of any ski hire shops in La Molina. We will be staying at the Solineu Apts and last time we rented from them but the equipment wasn't great. The only one I can find when I search is Eustaqui Esports and it doesn't say if you can rent a locker there to put the skis in at the end of the day. Does anyone know if there is a ski hire shop near the gondala that goes over to La Masella?
Thanks for your help.

helenraff, welcome to SnowHeads!

I don't remember the details, but there's definitely at least one hire shop in the main building near the gondola, and there are lockers in that building too. There are a couple of other hire shops dotted around too. Don't forget to pay a visit to Masella if you haven't already done so!

Hi Pyremaniac ,thanks for your reply-yes I thought there were some down there but would like to book gear online before going so need their names to see if that's possible. Yes we will definitely go to Masella, last time we were there we got the Alp 2500 pass and did both resorts, we had fantastic snow in Feb 2010 so fingers crossed! Think the snow is ok this year have you been there?

We are returning to La Molina in Feb and have just booked our ski equipment through http://www.skiset.co.uk. This was the cheapest offer available at the time of booking and I could only find online booking for Eustaqui Esports. We have also previously hired our equipment at Solineu but found the boots to be wet and smelly. I just hope that Eustaqui Esports come up trumps. Cool
