Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Val Thorens Ski Sales

I am heading out to Val T in a couple of weeks and need some new skis to replace my old Nordica Hot Rods. Been holding off buying in the U.K. in the hope that I’ll find an amazing end of season bargain in resort. Question is, what are my chances in Val Thorens? I’m after an 85-90 width All Mountain ski in the 175-180 length range, which I’m guessing is more likely in that ‘sell out early’ range. I’ve been looking at Armada Declivity, Black Crows Serpo and maybe Volkl Kendo. Anyone recently in Val Thorens who can comment on current stocks of skis like this?

Highly unlikely to find popular skis in a popular size on sale without a lot of searching and luck. Surely you’d be better off looking on Sport Conrad or similar and have them shipped to your France acommodation?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

and following what Bob says check online to see what the availability is, because it will only be less in resort. Plus resort shops don't go big on end of season mega discounts.

Thanks guys. I’ve played it safe and ordered the Declivity 92 from Ellis B!
