Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Kids half term 18-20 Feb Glencoe - Nevis Ski buddies required!

Me and my 10 year old son are going to brave 3 days skiing in the Glencoe and Nevis area from tuesday 18th - thur 20th Feb during the school holidays snow and wind permitting. Looking to meet up with some other snowheads if possible to stop the wee man from getting bored rigid just trailing on behind his old man. Both of us are competant skiers once we find our snow legs and will attack anything pisted and most things off the beaten track within reason bearing in mind he is only 10.
Looking to set off from Blackburn Lancashire early doors tuesday morning and hopefully ski at Glencoe by around 09:30 if all is well. Probably Nevis on the wednesday as we are staying in Fort William for 2 nights and then whatever suits for the thursday before heading off home. Happy to meet up on the piste or could even possibly pick up on the way there if its not too far off route. If the weather and snow gods play ball then it could be a really cheep and fun few days and if not all is not lost as the hotel was only £108 for 2 nights B&B and can be cancelled at no charge up to 48hrs before arrival so nothing lost!
