Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Rather oddly, just carted mine around for a week. Empty. Shocked

Williams would be usual, though.

There are of course discussions in some circles that being a little squiffy actually reduces your danger as you tend to be more relaxed and can sometimes reduce the effect of a fall. Of course being a lot squiffy means you can't even get your ski's on and therefore could potentially reduce the risk of ski injury (head or other) to zero.

A friend of mine introduced me to an amazing hip flask combination. A 50/50 mix of scotch and a liqueur called The King's Ginger.

It really is awesome.

Port and Brandy mix... ideal for staving off a cold too (The port soothes the throat, while the brandy clears your sinuses)

Seriously? And I thought I had a sweet tooth. Honey JD or Morgans Spiced rum here, although we rarely actually touch it nowadays.

Whisky and ginger wine aka Whisky Mac. Usually half and half but slightly more ginger wine in the skiing mix, as it's weaker but warmer. Mmm.

Over the years I've done Genepi, for the "When In Rome" appeal; Wood's Rum; Jack Daniels; and Courvoisier but why oh why did I never think of Whisky Mac - what a fantastic combination for an icy cold, clear day.

A single malt - usually Lagavulin. I have a couple of sips in the course of a day so the alcohol intake is minimal. Even giving away a few hits to others in the group it still usually lasts the holiday. But younger people (ie under 50s) seem not to drink Scotch so I don't get many takers except among the oldies.

This might sound odd but a decent whisky with water and sugar is a lovely warming drink.

It will be the remnants of the 12 year old Calvados that untreated myself to (actually accidentally typed "my shelf" just now which is more accurate) before Xmas

Now what would go nicely with that?
