Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Getting From Moutiers To Tignes

I am flying into Grenoble on Saturday evening but can unfortunately only get a transfer to Moutiers as they are not running a bus to Tignes that night. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can get to Tignes at about 22:00 hours from Moutiers. Any help would be much appreciated.

There's a train at 2250 Moutiers to Bourg which gets you closer then follow the advice of bobski62, !!

I would find a cheap-ish place for the night in Bourg. Go up to Tignes on first bus Sunday. Look up altibus and prebook, print your own ticket. A taxi will cost €80 ish from Bourg. Bus is €10.60. Pre-book the accom as well. bobski62, suggestions ok but b and c prone to failure and a is very expensive. First bus on the sat is 7am, maybe similar on sun.
