Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hotel Elmauhof - Hinterglemm

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi there

We are a family of four who have booked to stay in the Hotel Elmauhof in Hinterglemm in January. Just wondered if anyone had any info on it. I booked it because it said "ski in - ski out" in the brochure. We stayed at the Berger's Sporthotel in Saalbach last year and had a great time, but I hated the uphill walk to the lifts every morning in ski boots, carrying skis. Before that we had always stayed in the Hotel Alpenland in Niederau which was right on the slope. Does anyone know how far we will be from the main lifts in Hinterglemm and if we will be able to ski to them without having to walk? We don't do ski school so can go where we want. Thanks.

Hi,
Our family stayed here 2011 over New year and we are going back this new year. Hotel is great and yes its a ski in ski out. Simply put your ski's on and a small transverse then ski down to the lift. SKI back to the hotel can be a little tricky for absolute beginners, but is simple enough.

Thanks, though it was 2006 that I posted this question Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
We did enjoy the hotel though and returned the following year as well.
