Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Group of four mid-twenties Irish girls planning a ski trip for the first or second week in February. Two beginners, one intermediate and one experienced skier. Looking for other experienced skiers to join our group if anyone is interested?

Haven't confirmed the destination yet. Most likely Andorra or somewhere in the Skiwelt area.

PS as a heads up, they're pretty busy weeks with school holidays etc so get moving on making your reservations. First week won't be too bad, but the second week includes Faschings Dienstag (our Pancake Tuesday) which is a MENTAL fancy dress party night in Austria, so bring a costume & face paints if you go to the Skiwelt that week! It's great craic though, worth including it if you're up for a big party Very Happy

Thanks for the heads up. What's the apres ski like in Soll? I've stayed in Brixen-im-thale and Westendorf before but I've never been in Soll.

It's brilliant- and lots of Irish up for a laugh!! It's like mish-mash of a full week of All-Ireland final and 6 nations in one, lol!! Everyone in great humour & up for a laugh for the whole week. SalvenStadtl is the main bar, everyone meets there for early apres (after the umbrella bar at the middle-station) so there's lots of mixing & getting to know other groups- you'll meet other intermediates & experienced skiers no problem.

I presume your beginners will do ski school? That's another great way to meet other groups (& pick their instructor's brain in the bar afterwards, if you don't do ski-school yourself lol). I spend half my life out there (so will admit to bias lol, but it really is an AMAZING place!), so any questions feel free to give me a shout Happy

Humpfknick, Fasching Dienstag is March 4th in 2014, not in February at all. February 27th is Weiberfastnacht but that is not a holiday so only the ladies are having Guadi.

However quite a few Austrian provinces have their Semesterferien (Half Term) between the 10th and 15th February. This means that the second week of February will be busy! But the good news is that none of the German Bundesländer have holidays until the 17th February.

Samerberg Sue, oh my God you are so correct, thanks for that!! That's what happens when I post late at night- I must have been delirious lol!! Yes it was Feb 12th this year not next year! I'd only had this exact conversation with my own friends recently, that the late Easter next year makes the first two weeks of Feb a better option than usual. Completely slipped my mind lol Wink
