Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Anyone in Les Arcs Xmas Week?

Hi all,

We recently got offered a friends apartment in Arc 1950 for Christmas at a price we couldn't refuse (not a bad effort by Santa there).

However, my wife's not a big skier, so will probably spend more time in the Spa than on on the piste, and kids will be in Ski school half the time. So, rather than being billy-no-mates, I was wondering if anyone else was in the area who wouldn't mind me tagging along every now and then?

Hi, I shall be in Arc 1800 for Christmas and New Year with a friend. We also have other friends who live in resort and a couple in Bourg. More than happy to meet up at some point.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I'm thinking of booking a last minute trip to Arc 2000 for the week commencing 21st Dec., and will be travelling alone.

wills_h, JonnyRocket, will PM you both my mobile no to make it easier to correspond once there.

I expect to be around most mornings (likely with the exception of Xmas day, where presents will likely come before skiing rolling eyes Toofy Grin ). Will be joining my son some afternoons (11), but assuming his snow legs come back to him after a couple of years off and a few inches gained in height, he's proficient on most blue and red.

(mid 30's, happy on anything marked and working on my confidence on that that isn't!)

Only two more days work before leaving now snowHead
