I have a few days holidays to take before the end of the year and I wouldn't mind going snowboarding but I have no idea where to go and I don't want to spend a small fortune either.
I had a look at http://www.action-outdoors.co.uk/singles/winter-13-14-dates and it looks fantastic but I think if I miss Xmas Day my family would kill me so does anyone have any other advice.

It does look great. If you can get time off before xmas week then you might get a real bargain. There will e lots of availability then.

There's lots of snow in Andorra at the moment, and the Pyrenean commercial season doesn't really start until Xmas, so there might be some pretty cheap packages available. In good snow years, the pre-Xmas season can offer serious value for money.

Skibert, the normal 'early' opening lifts opened then... it was very, very bleak and cold though!
Is the opening party on during that week?
