Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Buddy request for Canada 2014

I am planning a trip of 1 week Whistler and 2 weeks Fernie end of Jan. I am thinking of paying for a group week with Non-Stop but thought I'd ask and see if other singles or groups are going there and I might join up for some accomodation sharing, maybe shuttles as well. I am advanced and will be doing some CAT along with mostly off-piste, trees, etc.

BTW, I've been to Whistler, RevelStoke and Silver Star and my wife has also been to Red, WhiteWater and Quebec. She can't come this time.

Hi there,

I've just booked a week away travelling on the 15th - 22nd Feb to Whistler Canada from London as I'm in the education sector(FE lecturer).

I'm a young 46 yr old snowboarder of advanced level with over 21 years about 30 plus weeks experience on a snowboard and a couple of years on skis prior, though I'm happy on all terrain. I could lie about my age and mentailty and get away with it but I don't so I just like to enjoy life and have fun.

Once again it's the usual friends excuses, its too expensive, wrong dates, taking the kids etc and the missus not really interested scenario leaves me to go off and enjoy it while I can. I'm just in my element when it's time to hit the slopes.

So my hotel room and flights are already paid for but there are places still available if you're interested. I can give you the details.

Just looking to share the slopes with and chill out without burning too much of the midnight lamp.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Thanks for the reply and I appreciate it. However, I decidied to do a singles guided tour to Utah this year. Might be a bad call given the current conditions but I am hopefull of caomparing 6 or 7 of the Utah resorts with the Canadian resorts i love. Particularly Revelstoke. The Canada conditions look like they'll be fantastic so I wish you the luck we had last time at Whister where we arrived at the tail end of a four day storm. Got the first run on the Piccolo chair, Sun Bowl, hip deep and deeper through the trees at the bottom. No Cat, no hiking, hip deep freshies straight off the chair. I wish you luck.

No worries mate, your trip sounds like a blast, wish I could do the same but not with my job restrictions.
Thanks for the heads up on those runs.
