Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi All,
I'm a 38 year old intermediate snow boarder who is looking for other like minded adventurers (skiers or boarders) to get some snow fun in from 28th Dec - 4th Jan. Please let me know if you are interested, have something in mind that I could join, or plan with you since I've been let down and as per other threads all others I know are married, have kids, not interested etc... I'd like something somewhere high and snow sure that won't blow the bank balance, preferably ski-in/ski-out with good apres. Open to suggestions. Thanks, J Very Happy

Im in the same position as you, although I'm a skier: I've had many x mas ski hols over the years and theyve been a lot of fun too; Likewise my usual mates cant manage a week at xmas due to work and family commitments etc.

I'm 48 and single so I can get away this week:

I've always enjoyed Austria, pretty place, good apre ski too! - Italy is on the cards for a change:

So whats your budget? destination preference? Where do you live etc?

Hey carrie, I am in a very similar position to chilly. I am 39yo, i am an intermediate boarder and skier.....i will have to go solo this year. Skiweekend.com has some good deals which i was looking at through their website this morning. Various dates for around 300 or so quids. Coach or fly half board in brides les bains. I would be happy to drive and split the costs. I am not 100% sure i am going to do this, but i am not restricted to certain dates. Although sometime over the xmas period maybe nice. I am in portsmouth if interested, then please let me know.

I'm sorted now, got a kind offer of accommodation from someone else on here. I don't live in the UK so package holidays didn't suit.
