anyone know what the walking trails are like lower down in case of the glacier being shut? I was planning to just wear Salomon waterproof walking shoes which would do for walking locally I'd assume??

never once seem the glacier shut for more than a day , i recon the snow will come in and we will be powder hooodin all day ... bring it on !

There are four of us, that I know of, on the 1430 ish Easyjet tomorrow.
I'll be in Costa airside from about 1ish with a bright red rucksack and a ski helmet.

Well it opened today, but only at 9:30 due to some snow blasting that they apparently had to do. Great snow conditions for variable and powder skiing, but I'm not sure the GS and SL gate groups had as much fun
