Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hey guys, I'm driving out from Scotland around the 20th of December to Bourg saint Maurice and back again on the 4th of jan. Just me in the car so room for one or two more, happy to divert route slightly if needed to grab a snowhead or to drop off in a resort on route. I'm staying in a hostel for £20 a night so if anyone is looking to do Xmas and NY on the cheap I can give you details of that as well.

I'm interested, where are you planning to ski/board during your holiday. Is the cheap hostel in Bourg Saint Maurice or in a ski resort. I've skied a lot in Val/Tignes and several times in Les Arcs. Send me an email to m.fleming01@btinternet.com if there is still space in the car.

Hi chaps, as there was no initial interest in car sharing I ended up just booking a coach from Manchester (skeecoaches.co.uk) on the dates above. It was about £150. Staying at chaletarc.co.uk up in Nancroix, have stayed there before. If any of you are is till interested drop me a pm, I'll be training it down to Manchester I would think.
