Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

World Cup Skier cross - Nakiska

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
So off to our local hill tomorrow and the world cups skier cross will be there. Disappointlngly looks like no Brits are through to finals (16W and 32M). A few canadians are.

Looks like it could have party atmosphere. After the skier cross they are doing a snowmobiler cross, which I've seen on TV and looks ridiculously crazy.

Second only to crashed ice, where they skate up and down hills

So Skier cross next week at Nakiska

It looks like there are two world cup events. One on the Friday and another on the Saturday. Will definitely be there on the Saturday, but am contemplating the Friday as well as both kids are off school that day.

Wondered who is going from british team?

Also, why is it that the finals are 16 for women and yet 32 for men?

A few of my mates were out in it yesterday...said it was minus 32... Brrrrrrrrr!!!!

Looks like the temps are going down next week to minus 10 and under, thank god as I fly out on Wednesday for the season...it's going to be a shock to the system. Good snowy sstart to the season though Happy

Be sure to look out for the stunning Pam Thorburn and Emily Sarsfield racing for the Brits.

Think Ed Drake is also racing for the lads. Hope they all do well... Cool

Unbelievably cold today- luckily no wind though. The coldest car temps record on the way to skiing in 6 yrs. U12 got to slip the course which he was excited about.

Emily came in 24th after a 3rd place finish in her eighth race. Good to see some medals from the Canadians too. Marielle Thompson was very impressive all the way through.
