Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi,

Looking at getting a transfer from Munich to Mayrhofen with www.tirol-taxi.at anyone used them? Do they have lots or drops off or are they pretty direct.

Let me know you experience please.

roscoeh, AKA Four Seasons - yes they are very good and I've never had them doing drop offs but then there's normally 6 or so of us. Depending on your flight day and times, sometimes the train can be faster.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I know a couple of people who have used them and they had no complaints. There may be a few drop offs as you come up the valley but its all on the way. As Bode Swiller, says depending on when you are arriving if you hit traffic it can be a bit of a nightmare. I just go on the train when I go to Munich, its pretty easy and the same money.

Used them a few times always been very good. Had a pick up couple times but met at a central car park and others were brought there by other buses and we were then on our way. 10 mins wait Max.

I used them last year. The only drop offs were in Mayrhofen, and only added 5 minutes to the journey.

The journey from Munich to Mayrhofen was a nightmare though! It took 3 hours. The traffic was horrendous. Our driver said its like that every weekend in the ski season. Return journey the following Saturday was equally as bad.

Four Seasons/Tirol Taxi were excellent. The journey wasn't! We think that we will try the train next time, maybe getting a return flight back to the UK on the Sunday so that we can have a leisurely train ride back to Munich on the Saturday with a night in Munich.

Traffic to Mayrhofen isn't usually a nightmare, but the weekend before New Year is. 6 and a half hours. It is no fun. Racing at Kitzbuhel is anoth weekend to avoid. Use the train those days.
