Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Does anyone know if the above link will at long last be open, is likely to be open or has opened for the coming season? I have searched but cannot find a definitive answer. Many thanks.

Building has been taking place over the summer, due to be completed for the coming Winter season. Arlberg piste map shows the new link, includes the Warth ski area (and Sonnenkopf, although this has been part of the same area for some time) and also the new Tanzboden chair on Galzig. Link is in the St Anton/Arlberg snow report thread 13/14

Sitter. Many thanks for your reply. We are going to Warth in February and even without the link there is enough to keep the family occupied but the link would certainly open our horizons.

kennethm, what dates are you going to be there? We are there from 15-22 Feb as part of a large group (mainly staying in the Steffisalp). And the link WILL be open in time for the start of the season (according to the head of the ski school, to whom I was speaking last week).

DT68 "large group"! Here I was thinking that we would have the place to ourselves! I have taken a back seat on this one as we are going with my brother-in-law who was there last year and was well impressed. He is not easily impressed either! Point is I can't remember name of hotel but pleased the lift will be open. Thanks for the info.
