Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Looking for accomodation in Morzine. Basic information below:

Dates: Saturday 15th February, 2014 - Saturday 22nd February 2014
Type of accommodation: Self catered, apartment or studio
Number of people: 4

Our trip is going to be a fairly tight budget holiday so we're looking for somewhere that's as good value as possible. If anyone has experience in accommodation in Morzine, or owns some type of accommodation there, then please let me know! Very Happy

piperfraz, have you tried The Solutions Room on www.chaletsdirect.com ? If not, it will be worth a try as there are lots of Morzine owners on there. Be prepared though, that nowhere is going to be that cheap for the HT week

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

piperfraz, surely somewhere like homeaway or holidaylettings would be the place to start?

You want to be near either SuperMorzine bubble or Pleney lifts which means pretty much centre of town.

The Morzine website would also be useful - but a lot of places will already have been let for that week.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Hmm tight budget linked to English and Paris half term week.

Hope you find something but might be better off looking slightly out of town Montriond, Prodains etc

piperfraz, We used http://www.morzinelets.com/ when we went back in 09 (I think). Pretty decent apartment (La Vallee Verte) and not too expensive. A 10 minute walk to SuperMorzine (it's over the bridge on the far side of the river) but there is a bus stop outside.

As said with the holidays being during your dates of travel, hiring a car (or using the ski bus) and staying out of resort will get you far better accommodation options than trying to stay in Morzine, and probably save you a bit too.
