Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Pant / Salopette Recommendation.

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I was wondering if anybody would be able to recommend a ski pant / salopette, in Goretex or another decent material, insulated, in dark (ish) blue with some smart detailing etc?

Alpine and off-piste skiing, so not too baggy...

Many Thanks.

Sorry I forgot to add that I am looking for a good quality pair for around the £200 mark.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Check the Sweet Protection deals on SportPursuit. Personally really happy with my Dissident Pants, but they're definitely on the baggy side (not a problem offpiste/touring btw).

It would be for me - crampons plus baggy pants equals a disaster waiting to happen. You can solve the problem by rolling them up, but only if nobody is taking photos.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

These are brill if you can find any left (they're end-of-line now):

Otherwise, these should be perfect:

Warning, these are both softshell garments. IMV, that's a better option for pants.

Fair point, can't say I've ever used crampons (usually pussy out at that point)!

Okay thanks for the suggestions guys - I've actually purchased a pair of Salomon Brilliant pants in Blue. I think they have a Clima Pro shell and Prima Loft insulation. I hope they do what I need them to do! Any experiences?

Just need a stretch webbing belt and some braces now!

You can get braces on ebay... but tbh a black diamond harness with a couple of carabinas hooked on it looks cooler than braces...
