Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Glide and Slide- Otley, West Yorkshire. Great Service

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
I have had a great customer experience from Glide and Slide in Otley and just felt I wanted to make people aware. Yorkshire folk will know the business - a privately owned snow sports shop and boot fitters. I bought a Red (brand, not colour!) from them last year and had a continual problem with the goggle clip. I took it back after using it for a full season to see if anything could be done with it or if others had had the same issue. The shop contacted Burton (Red's manufacturer) - we went back and forth for a couple of months, but in the end Glide and Slide did a deal with Burton and allowed me to choose another helmet from their current stock. It was more than I was asking for - I originally thought perhaps we could fit another clip - but they said the main thing was that I was happy with the helmet.

I went for a Giro this time as I have had them before without any issues, but really appreciate the effort they went through to put it right.

Thought people may be interested in hearing about such great customer service if they are looking for kit for the new season!

 Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

lynnecha, Glide and Slide is an Alladin's Cave of excellent ski stuff. Great staff, some brilliant ski gear (including White Dot Skis, Salomon, Atomic, K2, Dynamic, Nordica skis), specialist boot fitter (also UK distrubutor and service for Strolz boots), loadsa toys for edge, wax, repair (with ceramic grinder and computer controlled spaceship!).

But best of all Steve is a perfectionist when it comes to ski service, fitting bindings, and sorting out boots. Which means he spends time providing a proper service!

Somewhat of an understatement .......................

G&S is the definitive independent client-focussed specialised "got-wot-u-want" ski store.

The old "CentreSport" with knobs on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shocked
