Poster: A snowHead

Hello everyone, first post <bows>. Sorry to start with such a mundane topic, but does anyone know of a good hire firm in La Tania? I suspect there won't be many, as snowboard hire in general is patchy, and La Tania is tiny, but I thought I'd ask. Would consider anywhere nearby too. Thanks!

Just checked, is Ski Wave La Tania
73120 Courchevel
Online skiset site states you can pre book snowboard, boots and helmet, you can select/deselect boots and helmet giving a starting price of from 80euros for 6 days starting this sun(as an exams)
There are different levels of board to chose from.
I have No idea if this is reasonable or not, but includes a 30% discount doing online.
Check their site out http://www.skiset.co.uk/
Plenty of shops across resorts

the biggest problem with Tanie is that there is no wher else nearby. Tania is stuck on the edge of the resort. its a free bus ride up to 1550 or 1850 if you want to go look in the main resort for hire shops. bus takes about 30 mins.

There are at least 3 hire shops in La Tania that I know of, and they all do boards, though my only direct experience is hiring skis etc:
1) Intersport (I booked ski hire here recently through Alpin Resorts for my family, which was very cheap, and fine) which is the one is Les Folyeres mentioned by mini.mansell. There's usually a discount code for Alpin Resorts that knocks a bit off the price. They're right in the centre of the village, next to the cafes that front the beginner ski area.
2) Ski Higher. Also right in the centre by the bridge. Probably slightly better equipment/service, but also I think slightly more expensive.

3) Snow Retreat have a ski hire service, which may be available to people in other accommodation (not sure - you could ask):

My group used them last year for maximum convenience (as we were staying with Snow Retreat) and they were fine too. I used them this year to service my skis after some rock damage and they did an excellent job (overnight on Christmas Eve no less).

Vinerower - Ski Wave, which is where the Skiset site will direct you, rent out boards. My son has hired one for the past few years. They are right in the middle of La Tania and are freindly and efficient. Good luck.
