franzClammer, do your local bin men collect skis or will you have to take them to the tip?

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

You could make an uncomfortable chair or bench.

The repair material and labour cost a lot more than the skis.

franzClammer, I had a similar pair of skis a few years back and filled them with araldite. It worked really well and I had no problems until I decided they really were too tired.
Take care to get the araldite correctly mixed and the holes really clean. the araldite flows quite well so leave the bases absolutely flat while it sets. If you are careful enough there will not be any excess. A few hours of the dry slope will flatten them nicely and you will not have to file them flat.

It looks like part of the edge is missing; so they are scrap.

You can mend that bottom gouge with a bit of metal grip melted on and then Ptex on top. Cut any excess away once it's dried.
I'd agree about a bit of flexable epoxy on the top one - then sanded off when dry.
Then just use that ski on your left foot.
Judging by the fact you got them for free, and the general condition, I wouldn't have though they were worth getting a pro on the job - although spyderjon would be able to relace the missing section of edge for you if you wanted.
