Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

I am presently planning the first ski holiday of the 2013/ 2014 season having persuaded my wife that we should go back to Avoriaz for Christmas. We depart on December 21, return December 28, 2013 and cannot wait!

For some reason the Irish Tour Ops only offer Avoriaz from December 28 so the wife and I will have to book this trip ourselves and now find ourselves on the lookout for Apartments which leads to my query, which websites should I use? A quick google results in a ridiculous amount of rental websites which only confuses us.

Can anyone please recommend website/s which we should concentrate our efforts on?

We booked through www.avoriaz.com - the Tourist Office website. There seemed to be a reasonable seleciton of apartments.

Yup avoriaz.com will work, otherwise avoriaz-location.com are the original and best (many of the smaller sites are just re-sellers). Pierreetvacances.com are the developer and own a lot of blocks so worth a look, or for the best chance of a deal papvacances.fr is a direct-to-owner website (like exchange&mart) so no agents commission.

thedavman, http://www.snowandtrek-morzine.com/index.html are good, have used previously and are snowheads to boot...oh and can sort out transfers too...
