Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

looks alright - main drawback would be hike up or down to town or if insufficient snow for ski in/out.

Thanks for this. It's in the sonnenweise area though so I'm not sure it's the same. It's apparently 3 mins walk from the 'village'. Thanks again.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Hardly a hike up/down from town, Nasserein is more of a hike than the Alpenheim for the centre!
It's just along from the Wellness centre so only a very short walk to the centre, especially if you cut down the little path by the tennis courts at the wellness centre that bring you out next to Bar Cuba.

I guessed it was near the Wellness centre - bit of a slog with gear from the bus station if say you are coming back from Stuben/Lech that way but otherwise fine. Nasserein is a good location helped by a relatively quiet gondola and frequent bus from the other end of town if you've been at the Mooser or on last lift from Alpe Rauz. To my mind it's better than being halfway in mid town e.g. near Spar/Church but nowhere is exactly isolated.

We stayed there last year, it's inexpensive for St Anton and in a great location just far enough from the town centre to be quiet. Nice, family feel to the chalet. You're not allowed to wear shoes indoors, so take slippers! Food was good, rooms clean and comfortable but not large. It's less than a 5 minute walk down into the centre of town via a path which brings you out at Bar Cuba, as said above.
You can ski down to the Nasserein gondola in the morning, and with piste map planning (and decent snow cover) you can ski back to the door as well.
There were a few times when we grabbed a taxi back though, depending on where we ended up at the end of the day (ie the Mooserwirt/KK!).
Highly recommend it.
