Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Large(ish) private minibus transfer from Geneva airport?

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Does anyone know of a company that offers large (more than eight) private bus transfer from Geneva? There are 9 of us heading to Les Carroz in January and I want to avoid booking 2 transfers if I can help it.

Cheers.

Alpybus appear to have acquired some small coaches. www.blacklane.com may also be able to help.

Are they legal to transport non-guests?
Some horror stories of minibusses being stopped and not allowed to continue last season.

ibuckle11, send a request on http://www.findtransfers.com and see if any of the companies have anything. Most companies have 8-seater minibuses but they might be able to add the 9th person to a transfer they already have?

You'll need to Register first of course.

Don't know of any 16 seaters that go to Carroz.

Book a private transfer for eight of you and a shared transfer for one.

Then draw straws or play rock/scissors/paper or something to see who goes on the shared.

Ivor Shed, Oh, that's good. Heard some real horror stories about minibus transfers and the Gendarmes last season.

Ive had a consistent good service from gomassif to Flaine.

http://www.gomassif.com/Faq.aspx

"I have a large group. Can I have a mix of transfer types?
Certainly. Our vehicles take up to 8 passengers, so groups of 9 or more will need to be split. To keep things cost effective, why not book a private transfer for 8 then a shared transfer for the remaining members of your group. This works really well with groups of 9 or 10. Use the shopping basket facility of the website to book multiple transfers."

I have found http://www.alpybus.com/home very good when I'm on my own and I should imagine they would be good in your circumstance too - well, you could get a quote and see.
