Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Garmont rapid buckle on Radium

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Hi guys,
I saw below a discussion regarding Garmont Radium ski boot and i decided to try my luck with my own problem. Smile

This season one rapid buckle on my ski boot broke (got twisted and one bolt broke this bolt is holding it to the other part that's screwed into the boot). The boot is still fully functional and ok so i'd hate to have to buy new ones if i can just get replacement buckle. And i've sent mail to Garmont to ask for replacement part but there was no answer. Next thing, i discover that Scott acquired it and garmont removed all ski boot info from their website.

What would you suggest? Where to look or how to get in touch with Scott/Garmont support? Or if you have any idea where to salvage one, from old boots or something like that? I'd pay some reasonable price for it and shipping of course.

Thank you for help in advance.

feign, welcome to snowHeads. I presume you're in the UK. If so then Scott UK's number is 01670 712129.

Or you could try Frazer at 47 Degrees in London on 02077315415. They've stocked Garmont for a good few years & may have a spare buckle.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

+1. Good call. IIRC Anything Technical were Garmont's UK spares agent.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.
