Poster: A snowHead
|
Just reading Dave Watt's Soapbox piece in the latest DMSS magazine (P130) and he mentions you can get grooming maps for Courchevel & Meribel. Anyone heard of these and know a way of getting them just before a trip, or where to get hold of one in resort?
Want to take advantage of the rumoured quiet(er) slopes Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

I think they are a list of pistes that have been groomed rather than a 'map' per se. I'm sure I've picked one up from the top of the Biolay and the Chenus lifts as well as from the Croisette.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

Thanks, I've not skied Courchevel for a couple of years now, so they must have upgraded this service a bit. Maps will be much more user friendly than having to cross-reference a list of pistes with a piste map if you are unfamiliar with the resort.

It's online as well, one of the options on their interactive piste map I think.
