Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Ski Improvement Programs - 2/3 weeks suggestions for North America

G'Day All

I am keen to do a two or three week ski improvement course in North America over Feb or March.

I was going to do one with Mike Dempsey in Whistler but he is booked out.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for similar programs in the US or Canada. Most of the US specialist programs
tend to only run a three/four days that I could find. But I suspect there are others I could not find - obviously the easy
way to do things is to find one that includes accom.

I am travelling from Australia - so doing the two / three week thing is the economical way to do things.

Great site

Thanks

Jonathan

My wife has done a couple and I am revuiewing options now for the same thing. We have many instructor friends in Canada who have offered advice as well. We have whittled it down to packages offered by Yes and NonStop. Both can be bought as full trip packages from www.DiveFishSnow.co.nz. Can be AUS or NZ centric and customised to your needs. I haven't been able to do it for less no matter how hard I try. My current favorite idea is 1wk Whistler then 2wks with nonStop in Fernie including a couple of days CAT skiing. But the cheaper option is either 3wks Whistler/Yes or 3 wks Fernie/NonStop. Of interest is also the Ski Quest 1wk Red and 1 Wk Revelstoke. I've skied all these places from NZ and for skiing it's Revelstoke without question but for a full package it's Whistler or Fernie.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Rhapsodie, I am sure 5 years after posting his question he is delighted with your answer. Call me a cynic (among other things) but do you run the company you mention in your post?

Nothing in my view shows me the date of the posts. But thought I'd respond anyway to show other inetrested parties what I have found out. And no, I have nothing to do with any commercial operations, directly or indirectly.
