Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Hi. Can anyone give some suggestions for cheap Les Arcs accommodation during half term week Feb 17th to 21st - either full week or part week - or direct me to the email of someone who might be able to help. My school has organised a ski trip to Peisey Vallandry area for Easter and the trip leader needs to visit thet area during half term to check things out.
The company we have booked with are struggling to find any reasonably priced options for her stay.
Will consider anything hotel/chalet/self catering. Could stay in other parts of Les Arcs if needs be - but obviously nearer Peisey is best.
We have a place in Bourg so I know lots of options there .... but I think the trip leader could do with staying up the mountain if possible (and she will be able to party more!!)
Many thanks

I am not sure a lot of accommodation has been released yet. For example Alpes-Horizonsstill have only their summer availability posted at the moment. I expect it will be September/October when the accommodation is published.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Stag in Boug St Maurice in a hostel, you will be unlikly to be able to do anything other than a full week in non-hostel accomodation. Loft looks good, I've had a friend stay there who said it was really nice.

Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

many thanks annaski - have passed this on to our trip leader - some friends have also sent options
kat.ryb - thanks - will investigate Peisey Vallandry options first as I think Bourg is too far for her to get a proper feel of the area the kids will stay in - but it may be useful as a fall back option
Thanks to all
