Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Where to go?

Hi all, I am in charge of booking 20+ blokes on a ski trip for mid to late January 2014, and for the 15 years we have stayed at Val D'Isere ClubMed, however, last year we stayed at Val Thorens ClubMed which was more reasonable in price, but the hotel wasn't as plush as Val D'Isere.

What we like is the all-inclusive aspect of ClubMed where all food and drink is included along with ski passes because you know how much it's costing. You also get your ski tuition if you want it, but most of all the ability to ski-in and ski-out from the doorstep of the hotel.

My question is, is there another hotel chain like ClubMed that can offer the all-inclusive package mentioned and have the ability to ski-in/out from the doorstep?

If there's not another chain like ClubMed, then I'd appreciate a heads up on other hotels/packages that have flights, ski passes, food and drink included and has ski-in/out access.

Thanks in advance.

matstuart, I've taken groups to the Leo Lagrange in Risoul. We also used a centre in Les Carroz that was not Club Med but I cannot remember the chain. The German chain (I think) of Robinson Club also has some nice centres http://www.robinson.com/aktivitaeten/wintersport/

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

matstuart, welcome to Snowheads. The standard UK TOs are starting to do more all-inclusive deals. You'll have to fish around in the brochures, though, for the ski-in/out access (taking the TO BS with a large shovel of salt)

matstuart,
Why not pick one of the other Club Meds? Serre Chevalier and Peissey-Vallandry are both excellent. Meribel, as well but that one is defo expensive

Peisey Vallandry (les Arcs) might suit you very well. Really good accomodation and ski in/ski out.
