Help!!
Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better!
Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

My friend wants to go skiing with his Mrs over Christmas. Neither of them have ever been skiing. He was about to book Bulgaria for a week today but it was coming in at £1560 for the 2 of them, that was just flights accommodation on a bed and breakfast basis and transfers. Thankfully I stopped him!!! has anyone already booked for Christmas this year and what deals did you get? needs to be a beginner friendly resort.
Cheers.

Leave booking until a week or two before Christmas and Bulgaria will cost less than £200 each including the mattress, the sausages, potatoes, flights and transfers. Best advice for anywhere at that time of the year to be fair, as there'll be plenty of deals available and they'll know where the better snow is by then.
Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

Not sure there are any TO packages but Albiez-Montrond would be perfect for beginners - and cheap:

Jet2: Manchester to Grenoble or Chambery and hire a car.
Anyway, snowHeads is much more fun if you do.

, there are always loads of last minute deals for Christmas week. It's almost a low season week as people like staying at home and then flood into the alps for New Year. Personally I'd point them in the general direction of Austria.
