Mail for help.Help!!

Log in to snowHeads to make it MUCH better! Registration's totally free, of course, and makes snowHeads easier to use and to understand, gives better searching, filtering etc. as well as access to 'members only' forums, discounts and deals that U don't even know exist as a 'guest' user. (btw. 50,000+ snowHeads already know all this, making snowHeads the biggest, most active community of snow-heads in the UK, so you'll be in good company)..... When you register, you get our free weekly(-ish) snow report by email. It's rather good and not made up by tourist offices (or people that love the tourist office and want to marry it either)... We don't share your email address with anyone and we never send out any of those cheesy 'message from our partners' emails either. Anyway, snowHeads really is MUCH better when you're logged in - not least because you get to post your own messages complaining about things that annoy you like perhaps this banner which, incidentally, disappears when you log in :-)

Long search for missing ski tourer

 Poster: A snowHead
Poster: A snowHead
Theodor left on his own for the Tarentaise on the weekend of the 2nd of March. He used his credit card at 6h50 at the Albertville toll-booth. He was driving a white Toyota Yaris with the plate AN-054-VX. Since then there has been no trace of the 38 year old man. His Yaris was found yesterday evening below Val d'Isere at the Pigettes avalanche protection tunnel at the start of the ski tour that leads to Chenal and the St Foy Backcountry. He may have set out for the Col du Lac Noir (2869m) or the Pointe de la Foglietta.

A Search and Rescue helicopter is planning to fly the route today if conditions allow but there may be no quick answers. A lot of snow has fallen since then. In the Mercantour the remains of a walker missing in August 2011 were only discovered some 8 months later and the body of Soueï Puechavy, missing since December 2011 was only found in October 2012.

If you were skiing in St Foy did you cross a lone skier on the 2nd March?
