LG has about a metre up top but the wind is making things too dangerous....... when that stabilises somone will have an awesome time.... go guided or not at all, its not an option atm

Thanks to Easiski, for the piste maps that arrived today. I wasn't expecting quite so many! I will give them to the people I know are on the trip and set them a homework to learn the resort!

Fabulous snow all over the upper runs today, and sun all day. The Signal was splendid - first time down it on the board.
Got back to find guests grumbling that the lower runs into resort weren't very good, silly sods.

If a certain person comes back I will stop forever BTW guys - Admin has persuaded me to come back on the snow reports, and also that so many of you have said how much you enjoy them, but they may be truncated. After all there are other snowheads here in LDa who could report a little more and take some of the responsibility off me.

Great to have you back. Will have to devote some considerable time to matching you pics and reports to the piste map you sent me. Just given a few maps out to people in my form going at Easter. Might have raised excitement levels a notch or two!

easiski, good to see you back. Im not going to Les Deux Alpes soon, never have been, and cant see a trip coming in the next year or two, and yet i still check this thread everyday. I hope you realise your efforts are very much appreciated by us all

12 days until im going ski silly again. 1st time for me in L2A. That photos has got me drooling to be out there.

easiski, not sure what happened hun but it would be a complete travesty if you left. Your reports are always spot on and I found the conditions exactly as you described them.
We had a brilliant time last week and it was brilliant to meet you and spend the time we did together. Mr Leis is still raving about his lesson and his new found ability to ski down the face! debbi, Friday is forecast clear at the moment - you should have awesome conditions. Tomorrow is predicted snow, but I see a clear sky as we squeak, so I'm hoping it will be wrong for a change. (Last real chance to board before Saturday - it HAS to be good tomorrow!!)

easiski, I thought that in France many restaurants etc are already officially no-smoking but with a typical gallic shrug this is widely ignored.
Norway went no smoking at the same time as Ireland. When I went there in January 2 years ago I turned up at the hotel to find it was like an English office building with a huddle of smokers outside the front door. And it was bloody cold.
