Hmmm, I skied for one day in La Rosiere with several friends looking for some decent off piste. Since that day, whenever something goes wrong, or someone makes an embarrassing gaffe, it is invariably referred to as a "La Ros". The fact I had to drive four hours round to La Thuile after my mate skied down the wrong side has no bearing on this.*

I am glad to see all the bluster and macho rhetoric was rightly pruned from this thread. Every time this issue gets raised I end up feeling the protagonists deserved each other. Time to move on surely.

I hope this is not connected to the new commercial aspect of snowheads? I assume advertiser are not keen on the vitriol?

I'm in La Rosiere now. Its a sweet, cutesy place with a little new investment in the town to make it fun. It's fairly quiet on the slopes despite the fact that it's half term and also cheaper than most big resorts so this makes it good. The skiing is quite easy for intermediates and kids so this makes it attractive I guess. Probably it suffers to much from high expectations amongst skiers which raises expectations too high. Personally I have no problem with slower or drag lifts. Wind not been a problem yet. Debs to experts and with both schools, they appear to have had very good tutiion.

What was removed was a private (and very long standing) argument between two sH's. It has no place in the public domain, or at the very least, on this forum. If you have a particular need to see vitriol and blood shed, can I recommend standing nearby the nearest kebab shop at closing time on a fri/sat night? You should be able to indulge your voyeuristic tendencies there to your heart's content. 
that were a snip and a bit, thank god Tony's not gyno surgeon . . . It were fun for a while .. .... ... ...... but Tony's right (if a bit heavy handed) and I obviously missed standing in some of his latest dropping today. Don't worry, I'm sure there'll be more handbags at dawn another day
