@123_456, Wonderful photos  I'm there next week and was wondering if the Vallon Du Lou itinerary from La Masse is worth doing given the avalanche risk level (3)? Weather outlook is pretty good for the week.

Very light snowfall during the morning, some sunshine in the afternoon. Less cold but strong wind winds during a short period in the afternoon.

The risk for avalanches on this itinerary is always there. Do not risk your live and stay on the pistes.
Last Wednesday a experienced skier died in an avalanche on the itinerary from Boismint to Lac du Lou.

Sunny until the second part of the afternoon. In morning clouds in the valleys up to 1600 meters. In the afternoon the clouds came up to 2400 meter and so the sun disappeared. A lot of floating ice crystals and much colder.

Belleville valley was wonderful this morning, pistes were perfect from VT to St. Martin, over in Orelle it was more hard packed and the visibility went to zero at the bottom of Peyron in the afternoon but still a great day, the rest of the week should be similar hopefully.

That's one of favourite rides - spectacular as you come steeply back over the rocky ridge. You've captured the drama well.

After a week with sunshine, the weather is changing now.

It's been a remarkably good week here but more snow is needed, there's a lot of hard packed snow and some bare patches throughout the 3V. the forecast is looking good though for anyone coming next week.

The whole day long very light snowfall. Of the predicted 12-18 cm only 2 cm arrived today.
One of the busiest weeks of the season has been started.

Pistes seemed to be improved, caused by a thin layer fresh snow.

A sunny day that ended with a lot of wind.
If the weather forecasters are right, then this was the last sunny day of a perfect week.
Some snow will arrive in the next two days and this is needed because this snow is already three weeks old, hard packed and icy on the steeper pistes.
