Last day of skiing as we leave tomorrow morning.The weather today is forecasted for clear blue skies and a warm day again. Will be taking the first cablecar upto Birg and making the most of it as the weather is meant to be closing in this afternoon with lower temps and heavy snow forecasted starting Saturday morning.

Got back from this afternoon after a week at the Alpenrose in Wengen. Fantastic week: Blue skies, sun, crisp snow (at least higher up till about 3:00).
Ian, good to see you again - sorry didn't have much chance to talk- next year?
Will post some photographs in the next few days. Had a lesson with Privat ski school on Thursday - Charlie sorted out my carving in no time and the rest of the week was just perfect.

Lots of sun in Grindelwald this week. Could defininitely use some snow. Did the Lauberhorn run on a pair of 96mm waisted skis, which is a feat unto itself with the slopes very, very hard packed. Rocks and brown bits starting to show in some areas on piste. Made it down to Wengen which is basically snow free. It's been warm every day we've been here. I hope they get some snow before the end of this month for folks coming this way later on. Wed. is our last day of skiing. Then off to Paris for a few nights.

Hmm return times OK but out times look like they will be a bit of a sod, arriving to late or leaving to early to be any good, still maybe by next ski season things might have changed
