Conditions look like they have improved in the Val Gardena area. Watching the world cup on euro sport in Alta Badia and the trees have a nice covering of fresh snow!!!

Anyone in or been in Passo Tonale recently?
Webcams showing a bit of white stuff but not sure if that is going to be hard icy by now as forecasts over last couple of weeks have been for the odd couple of cms every few days.
Going on the 24th Dec. Went this time last year and had several feet of snow even in resort.
Do they have any decent snow cannons?
Rob

First day in Cervinia today. Quite gusty, like being sandblasted at times, only the small Cretaz lift open no queues so surprised me with how quiet it is. All good for getting the legs back into gear for the rest of the week, fingers crossed that the wind drops as forecast.

Sella Ronda pistes in remarkably good nick considering the woeful lack of snow. Almost all pistes open, including the SR circuits in both directions. Everything pisted absolutely flat, understandably, and some bare patches appearingan but plenty of very enjoyable motorway skiing under blue skies (afew feeble attempts at snow but nothing serious).
First time to the Dolomites, beautiful area, excellent grub.
Happy Xmas to one and all.

Had fantastic Weather the last few days in Cervinia, if anything a touch too warm, but the snow is holding up well. Due to turn colder with a bit of snow in the next few days, should make things excellent.

Snowing all day here in Cervinia, tiny flakes, very windy too. Looks like all lifts are shut. We're on our way home today, but should be good for anyone on their way out.

OK, just got back from a week in Passo Tonale - had a great time, only one run closed, lovely conditions on piste, and a few cms of snow yesterday to freshen things up.

Just back at work from a week on the Sella Ronda, the higher runs are open and in good condition given the lack of snow, off piste is non existant at the moment but the bashers are doing a fine job.
It snowed heavily as we finished out last run on Friday 30th.
