Get well soon! My Mum had a displaced fracture to her C6 vertebra after a car accident. She got fixed and is now fit and healthy (but a bit old and grumpy - but that is nothing to do with her injury!)

My best wishes for a speedy recovery. Let's hope that the injury won't prevent you from continuing to demonstrate your ability (memorably displayed in the GLC a couple of years back) to rise from the horizontal to the vertical while balancing a pint of beer on your head!

I am assuming that this is the Jules I skied with at la Grave the other year with Charlotte. Wonder if they'll let him have a long straw and a bottle of beer on the bedside table? If not then stick with the meds and feel the warmth of all the sHs wishing you quick mending for the New Year.
