No.
Hint: the main skiing of this place is over the ridge to the left.
Another hint: this was taken approx on the extreme top right edge of last one

Arno got it. Malfatta couloir is on the extreme top left.
By the way the photo of me at the Grands Montets was taken by Jess Stock.

No, faced with spagetti you'd ask for a fork... Faced with Malfatta you'd think: fork'n 'ell.

And love to help out and answer questions and of course, read each other's snow reports.

How about this? Some clues in the pic

You know it makes sense.

Can't make out what he is placing his foot in - doesn't seem to be a ski.
Looks extremely cold and everyone seems to have a helmet - is it Canada or US? But glades look natural - no pistes or lifts. Is it Heli ski?

Some good deduction here. Warmish but not quite on the money.

And the winner is Arno - the eagle-eye is the restaurant at the top and of course this view shows a lot of terrain that is still heli access as well as skinned to. Nice eh?

I've never skied in the US so I think I did rather well! Do I get a consolation prize?

You can still have skied KH without having skied in the US - unless you choose to skin a long way out of bounds

snowball, You were very close on the first pass as Kicking Horse is former heli-op terrain. Trees up to almost the ridgeline I tend to regard a s a giveaway that its N America. Wasn't that cold that day though it had been bitter a couple of days before IIRC.
