The one at the top of the long drag lift on the 'other' side of the S3 gondola is nice. It's the first one you come across as you work your way away from Kitz.
Also a couple of smaller ones lower down on blue 25/26 (25 was in a terrible state when we were there at half term, so we didn't go down it - shame because my fave restaurant is down it!)
I like the one at the top of Steinbergkogel.
Quite a few places only take cash, so it's worth being prepared for that.
And if you haven't been before, make sure you try the Kasspatzle. And Kaisershwarmm (but not in the same meal, if you still want to move afterwards).

There is no "long drag lift" It got replaced with a gondola a few years back. That's if your meaning the drag coming out of Jochberg.

There was definitely a long drag lift there last week! At the top of red 68/blue 64/black 63. Just looked at the piste map - the drag I'm talking about is F8. The restaurant is marked as 11 on the map.

Ah, ok. You confused me when you said the other side of the 3S. You mean over at Barenbadkogel. Yep, the one where you can have a lovely plate of spare ribs. The runs round there are some of the best and not too busy either.

And yes - Barenbadkogel. The ribs were indeed tasty... And the chilli, and the bolognaise, and the goulash, and the kasspatzle... (5 of us ate there twice, so we worked our way round most of the menu!)
And completely agree about the slopes over there. If you're going over from Kitz, head over there early to make the most of the time. The snow was lovely over there when we were there, and seeing as it's snowed since, I'm sure it will be even better now.
