Poster: A snowHead
|
I’m travelling on the 13th of April.
I’m holding off on the basis that the EU wouldn’t be daft enough to pull two fingers up to £40 billion squids? Would they?!
Must admit I’m getting nervous!

Obviously A snowHead isn't a real person

Does Project Fear ever give up.
If you get stranded in the EU, just drive or train to Switzerland and fly home to the UK from there.

Well, the person's real but it's just a made up name, see?

@jamescollings, I read this morning that France are ditching the 1968 IDP in favour of a new Brexit Version. This is in order that Corsican, Breton, Gallo, Basque, Franco-Provençal, Occitan, and Catalan are included in the document. These will be available at all Channel crossing points together with the now mandatory picnic hampers.

@Handy Turnip, it may be needed and for £5.50 it isn’t worth the risk IMHO. |
Yes, you’re right that it isn’t worth the risk. Less worried about the cost, it’s more finding the time to go to the post office over the next few days.

@Handy Turnip, just a warning, not all post offices do them either.

Just posting this here as well in case any expats have trips planned:
I received an email from the UK embassy in Vienna yesterday. It said that in the event of No Deal, expats need to apply for their new residence permits BEFORE leaving the country. I'm due to fly to the UK on 2nd May, doesn't give me much time.
The risk is that without proof of application for a residence permit, when re-entering Schengen my passport is stamped with a 90-day tourist permit.
