clarky999, it stopped snowing here a while ago and was only gave a few cm's in Bad Hofgastein (857m) over the last 24 hours. Comditions are worth the drive over here but I reckon there must be somewhere as good closer to you.

flangesax, The afternoon was even better. Found excellent lines, though east face of haus was a little disappointing with less snow and hard crunchy, elsewhere was spot on though. Mrs flangesax, was a legend, her best quote of the day "I think my tits just popped out my bra" and that hairy / not hairy face thing!

A very warm day here in Maria Alm on the lower slopes. T shirt weather.
Snow was very slushy which was great fun on the snowboards, slopes on Natrun were empty.
It's dropping to -1 tonight so should firm up, will be on Aberg then over to Dienten & Muhlbach tomorrow so will post a report tomorrow night.

Missing it already. Although we do have plenty of white stuff back here in deepest darkest Derbyshire, it's just not the same. I had 4 fabulous days in Ski Amadé. I was even introduced to the dark side (thanks Scarpa, kooky, Samerberg Sue)...

I think some more snow is forecast this week. We had a mix of lovely fresh snow and a couple of sunny days, really couldn't have been better. Hope you have a fab time!

Heading out for Easter, skiing only on Sat+Sun, current forecast isn't terrific - either a bit colder or more sun would be great! Staying in Radstadt, anywhere good to head if it is wet or poor vis?

Loads of places and I would not worry about the snow just yet. I'm taking a a couple of days break from the area having skied like crazy the last few days. There is more snow today and also tomorrow plus it is really cold down her.
Do you have some transport to get around while you are there? The buses are still running from Radstadt as long as the local mountain is open, then they stop (after April 1st). With your own wheels you can cover more of the area and of course more quickly.

Piste are in A1 condition, was skiing at Radstadt today, overnight freeze meant nice firm piste in the morning with lower slopes a bit slushy on afternoon. Very quiet on the mountain, which is a good thing.

Been snowing non-stop since yesterday evening, but most unproductive. A disappointing few cms of fresh up the hill, no more than in town. A dust in crust day, educational off piste skiing. Still coming down, a fine drizzly snow, seemingly quite steady but not really accumulating, it's certainly cold enough, well below freezing. See what tonight brings, forecast is looking really quite good for the next couple of weeks with quite cold temps and snowfall. Next significant snow forecast for the weekend.

All going well in Gastein. Sportgastein was due to end daily operation next weekend (6th/7th)and revert to just Sat and Sun but the lift company are now keeping it open until the 14th!  More fresh snow today too!
