snowbunny, Ray Zorro, omg thought people would be a little more tech savvy than this. you need a client tool like virc or mirc or xchat, then you all connect to a server, and can talk in real time to everyone whos logged in

yeah for my other interests, this is exactly what we did. arrnaged 8pm until late each Saturday, for a 'social' virtual get together.

oh and i'd drop the java free thing, and go with a real irc. nothing to stop admin putting a java interface link on snowheads though for quick simple access for the less experienced IRCers.

Ray Zorro, we had snow a day of so before the UK was crippled, then it melted, but now it's clear skies at night, with possible light dusting scheduled again next week. Christmas market though with numerous glühwein stalls.
