Ray Zorro, I have had two operations on the same foot in the last 12 months, that was my excuse for not skiing this summer! The foot pic I took the day the stitches came out.

Ray Zorro, I managed to lay down an old CX500 as I realised that it was to heavy to make it round a gravelled bend on a back road. Just ploughed a furrow up a grassy embankment. Almost had a good one on my CBR600 a year later, overtook a car at the great speed of 45mph but a wet patch in the middle coincided with a heavy hand on the acceleration. High sided it and was kicked off the bike, flying like superman with only the throttle hand still on the bike. But purely by chance I landed back on the bike and it straightened out. I suddenly started riding it a little more sedately for the rest of the day hehehe.

Ray Zorro, sheesh! Must've been pretty badly crushed to be unsalvageable. On the other hand, looking on the bright side, mine has occasionally gotten me into trouble. If I didn't need it for my work, I might think I'm better off without it!
snowbunny yes, I'm sure. Patient confidentiality and all that. Even where they've signed a consent for me to use the images, I don't recall it saying gratuitous or vicarious voyeurism on the form, next to medical records, teaching, research and publications. I'll go and have another look for you though, just to be sure.
