Ray Zorro, Yep all sorted for another year, but it looks like one of the fork seals is leaking (They didn't spot that in the mot) so have a job to do one evening
snowbunny, was out on the town last night , am going round to 'one who can ski' house with some others for a quiet one. he got on my pc today and saw your pictures and liked alot

Ray Zorro, I might hang around a bit longer cos some *^*&%$& has left a broken down car in our main entrance saying he would be back by 4.00pm. If it's still there later it'll be a Police job 'cos it's obstructing the public highway

mistermouse, I wrote my last one off 10 years ago, and as daughter no.3 had just arrived, I ended up buying a 4 wheeled version instead.
My epitaph was that I hit a horse on the A30 in the early hours of the morning. Seems like it belonged to some travellers and they hadn't tied it up properly and it wandered onto an unlit section of the dual carriageway. As it was a dark brown colour I didn't see it till I was right on it. Sadly it had to be put down, as did my bike.

boredsurfin, fortunately a police car went by about 60 seconds later and stopped and sorted it out and gave me a ride home.
snowbunny, not after I hit it. . It is funny how it all happens in slow motion. You're sliding down the road, and just in front of you your bike is sliding along, with sparks where the metal touches the road, every now and then it fliprped over and scraped the other side. Surreal really.

This looks like a nice Pub, prehaps not as nice as the one I just left, but duty calls and I am back home to finish of the curry for tonights meal.
I had the heady scent of wax in the air this afternoon as I filled and waxed SP skis in preparation for our trip at Christmas. Don't suppose any of the drinking team here will be in Tignes at Christmas as well? If so do please shout and I will pack an extra mince pie for you ( goes well with a dram of two )

boredsurfin, I don't know how those guys do that. I don't think they can be totally mentally stable.
snowbunny, I had a BMW K100RT, the 1000cc tourer. It was a nice bike and went well. It sat in the driveway until the insurance got sorted out and then all the Zorrolets waved it a tearful goodbye as the breakers took it away. Somehow I managed to cut a finger, but remarkably that was all.

snowbunny, I don't think so. I had one for about 18 years and I think I did everything that I wanted to do. I'm getting too old now too - people would say I was having a mid-life crisis or something.
I suppose that you have the leathers though.
