Im not convinced we will get much from the forecast precipitation next few days. Its to warm, rain & snow "showers" at most.
This weekend an Atlantic front moves in to the area bringing a very cold front. Begin of next week temperatures will drop rapidly . To early to tell if these are snow bearing clouds, if they are we need
one HUGE Storm 
The cold temperatures will be good for the Kunstschnee.
I am sure they will try to Open on the 8th but I suspect it will be very limited.

Being a St Anton virgin - Is the terrain super rocky in the Alberg or more Meadowy, ie does it need shed loads of snow to fill in properly?

Yeeee-ha, will be there Friday for a lads weekend and just remembered it Mooserwirt Après ski hits party weekend, AND it's snowing..........looking good, think I'll be leaving the WD's at home and bashing the pistes and light off-piste with the Mantras.

Dont forget the upper half above 2000M of the Mountain has been bathing in sunshine +C temperatures the last 43+days the ground is soft. I dont expect the snow to bond that well on the
steeper slopes On & Off piste
The Lawinenkommissionen will be working over time from Day 1.

Folks we have a few cms of new snow .
We can expect snow on & off ALL this week. Freeze level will drop to below the town however the freeze level will start to rise again on Wednesday. Its going to be very windy & as usual Stuben will recieve the most accumualations of snow

Looking good, I fly to Memmingen at the 26th but was keeping my options open on where to go but looks like the Arlberg for me now, subject to getting reasonably priced accommodation!
