No snow here this morning in London but it is very very very very cold and a decent frost on the ground. Put the winter wheels/tyres on the car last night in the hope of snow. Have a good white weekend if you have some.

nice soft snow at home in Guiseley probably 3/4inch now at work in Bradford (top of the hill) and lot less but still snowing

Ive got about 22cm in the back garden in Co Durham, just got in from skiing every feature I could find in the village. Hopefully heading up to Yad Moss tomorrow if the snow keeps going.

About 6 inches of snow in Dundee at 8am today. No roads cleared. First time i've ever had to use snow chains just to get to and from work! Snowing heavily again now. May just leave the chains on for tomorrow.

where the hell is our snow?! we've got literally nothing and it seems the whole country has got loads, we're a short drive away from leeds and yet they've got a fair bit.

ledge, what a day I had!!! Had a lovely walk around cow green reservoir then got back to the car after our 8 mile walk. Got in and started to dive and there was this wierd noise, got out, puncture!!! Oh great! So emptied the entire boot for the space saver wheel, stuck that on and headed for Alston. As I got near Yad moss the wheel felt like it was coming off but I continued down to Alston and found a garage, the time now was 3.45pm on a Sunday, the chances of finding a garage open were slim,'the chances of finding a garage with my tyre size were even slimmer. Went to the first one who couldn't help, went to the second and the woman behind the counter in the petrol station made a phone call to the owner who also had a repair shop at the rear if the garage. He said he will have a look a it. Took it into his workshop and he somehow repaired the hole in the tyre!!! So by now it was 4.30 on a cold and snowy Sunday afternoon in englands highest Market town and a very helpful local had helped me out and allows me to get home.'despite this little hiccup I had a great day out but didn't manage and skiing, there is always next weekend!!

It's going to be an interesting drive to work. The snow on the ground has frozen solid and now it's snowing again on top of that. Hopefully the gritters have done their stuff.

Some hardy snowboarders were getting turns above Meldon reservoir on Dartmoor yesterday - serious respect. A couple of inches on Dartmoor at least, more in places - hasn't thawed noticeably - still nice and creaky!
