Light to moderate snowfall during the whole day. Only at 15.00 for a short period some holes in the cloud cover.
The frozen pistes are covered with a layer of soft fresh snow, but the visibility was poor and there are still too many people here.

The day started with sunshine, but during the day some high overcast came in from the north/west. At the end of the afternoon the sun was nearly completely covered.

Sunshine in the morning. Light overcast during the afternoon is signal that the "grand beau" is over.
Much colder last night and today. Great time for the snow canons who can make overtime in producing artificial snow.

A cold and cloudy day with strong winds from SE (Lombarde) with flat light. A lot of lift were closed during the course of the day.

This is since last year the new arrival station of the TSD 3-Vallees.

The tent thing appears to cover the chairlift arrival station and a large containerised generator that is parked next to it. You can see two exhausts that come out of the tent in the middle section. I thought it strange too - then I realised the generator looks pretty ugly, and would make it difficult to clear snow around the lift station.

Cloudy and windy start of the day, but later in the afternoon the conditions were improving.
Nice snow on the higher north faced pistes. Below 2200 meter slush.

In the course of the day, the weather conditions deteriorated. More and more low hanging clouds with some snow in the afternoon. Very bad visibility, sometimes hardly no sight at all. Slow skiing only possible be means of the P2P method.

Some snow and cloudy in the morning. Sunshine in the afternoon but high winds at 2800 meter. Some lift were closed or running very slowly.
